AMC Theatres, the world’s largest movie theater chain, is lowering prices to attract more weekday audiences. Beginning July 9, 2025, AMC will offer 50% off adult premium movie tickets on Wednesdays for members of its free rewards program, AMC Stubs. This discount comes as the summer movie season heats up, with major releases like Superman, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Lilo & Stitch, Jurassic World: Rebirth, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps hitting theaters.
The announcement, reported by The Hollywood Reporter, says the Wednesday discount will apply at nearly all AMC locations across the United States. However, some movies might not be immediately eligible for the offer. The new pricing plan launches shortly after Jurassic World: Rebirth premieres over the Fourth of July weekend and just before Superman arrives in theaters.
