Rhyl Events Arena is set to host a free “Summertime Weekender” on August 2 and 3, offering a weekend full of live music and family-friendly activities.
Organized by Rhyl Town Council and Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL), the event promises entertainment for all ages. Gates open at 1 p.m. on both days, and tickets are now available.
Saturday’s program features The Big Pop Party Show, with tributes to stars like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, and Meghan Trainor. Queen Rhapsody will perform classic Queen hits, while the Kaiser Monkey Killers will bring energetic classic rock anthems.
Sunday’s lineup includes the soulful Motown sounds of Midnight Soul Sisters, Elton John hits by Elite Elton, and lively performances from the ska band Ska Britannia.
In addition to music, families can enjoy free activities such as face painting, balloon modelling, and a caricaturist throughout the weekend.
