LONDON — Tickets are officially on sale for the highly anticipated UK premiere of Born with Teeth, a sharp and darkly comic new play starring Ncuti Gatwa and Edward Bluemel. The production will run for a limited season at London’s Wyndham’s Theatre from 13 August to 1 November 2025.
Best known for his roles in Doctor Who, Sex Education, and The Importance of Being Earnest, Gatwa takes on the role of the legendary playwright Christopher Marlowe. He stars opposite Bluemel, acclaimed for his performances in Killing Eve, Sex Education, and My Lady Jane, who plays William Shakespeare.
Written by Liz Duffy Adams, Born with Teeth imagines a fictional encounter between two of Elizabethan England’s most celebrated literary figures. Set in 1591 in the shadowy backroom of a London tavern, the play explores a volatile and dangerous period in history—where artists were watched, words were weapons, and paranoia ran high.
