Reading FC chairman Rob Couhig has provided a promising update on the club’s season ticket sales ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Supporters have until June 20 to renew their season tickets at last season’s prices. The deadline extension gives fans more time to commit as the club looks to build momentum before the new campaign.
Couhig shared the news via social media platform X (formerly Twitter), revealing that the number of season tickets sold in under three weeks has already surpassed the total sold throughout the entire previous season.
“Congratulations @ReadingFC!” Couhig wrote. “In less than three weeks, the number of season tickets sold has exceeded all of last year. Lots of Urzzzs coming to Bearwood plus four guests in the box! We are just beginning! Announcements this week that will provide huge motivation to secure your tickets before June 20. Hang on! #Reading Monday.”
The club is also preparing for a busy summer in the transfer market as manager Noel Hunt aims to strengthen the squad. So far, midfielder Lewis Wing has signed a new deal to stay at the club, while contract offers have been made to several other key players.
Reading are reportedly interested in re-signing Chem Campbell, who impressed during a loan spell last season. However, they are likely to face competition from other League One clubs for the winger’s signature.
With season ticket sales climbing and potential squad additions on the horizon, optimism appears to be growing at the Select Car Leasing Stadium ahead of the new campaign.
