Although NBA Finals tickets have always been costly, this year’s prices are lower due to the presence of two of the league’s smaller markets: the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. This has brought the average ticket price below previous lows, with $1,147 beating the $1,169 average in 2023 and $1,200 in 2021, based on TickPick’s tracking since 2019.
Last year’s Finals between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks, two major markets, had an average ticket price of $1,560 — about 25% higher than this year’s.
