FIFA Launches Club World Cup Ticket Sales with Bonus Access to 2026 World Cup

by Celina

Soccer fans in the United States will have a unique chance to secure access to both the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, thanks to a new ticketing strategy announced by FIFA.

FIFA, the global governing body for soccer, has unveiled a new ticket package that ties the upcoming 2025 Club World Cup to the much-anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will also be held in the U.S. The organization calls it a “first-of-its-kind offer.”

Under the terms, fans who purchase a standard ticket pack for the 2025 Club World Cup — which includes tickets to two or three matches — will receive a guaranteed option to buy one ticket to a match at the 2026 World Cup. However, this offer does not include access to the final match of the 2026 tournament.

Conditions And Restrictions

According to FIFA’s official “Terms of Sale,” the governing body will determine which 2026 match the buyer may attend, as well as the ticket category. This clause is outlined in section 4.2 of the terms. FIFA also notes in section 2.4 that all tickets are subject to availability and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The organization does not guarantee ticket availability, even for those who purchase the Club World Cup package.

There are also usage restrictions. The buyer must not resell the tickets and must personally attend the matches, or allow a friend or family member to use them. Only after fulfilling these conditions will the buyer qualify for the 2026 World Cup ticket offer. Specific details about the 2026 match and seat location will be shared at a later date.

Super Ticket Pack Offers Access to 2026 World Cup Final

A second, more extensive offer — the “Super Ticket Pack” — grants fans a ticket to all 20 matches of the 2025 Club World Cup. In return, buyers receive a guaranteed option to purchase one ticket to the 2026 World Cup final, widely considered the biggest event in global sports.

To qualify, the buyer or an eligible guest must attend all 20 matches across 20 different days. The Club World Cup spans 22 matchdays, so this requirement is feasible. FIFA allows buyers to share tickets with “guests” who have a provable prior relationship with the primary buyer, as long as every ticket is used by someone within the buyer’s group.

Ticket Pricing Details

Ticket prices for the 2026 FIFA World Cup have not yet been released. FIFA plans to begin ticket sales this fall and has not disclosed pricing details so far.

As for the 2025 Club World Cup, current prices remain in line with those first announced in December. According to listings on Ticketmaster and the FIFA site, “Category 1” seats — generally located in lower-level sections — range from $100 to over $200 during the group stage. These same seats will cost around $2,600 for the final, excluding taxes and fees.

“Category 2” seats — usually located in the upper decks near the sidelines — cost between $60 and $140 before taxes and fees for group-stage matches. Some discounted tickets have been made available to fans of participating teams.
