CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois women’s basketball team has opened season ticket renewals for the 2025-26 season as of May 20. New season tickets will be available starting June 24.
Current season ticket holders are urged to log in to their accounts online before the July 18 deadline to renew. Fans who prefer physical tickets must renew or purchase by June 20. The seat upgrade process will begin in early August. Season tickets are expected to be delivered in October. Single-game tickets will go on sale in mid-October as the season approaches.
The Illini are entering their fourth season under head coach Shauna Green. Over the last three seasons, Illinois has posted a strong 38-11 home record. Notable wins include upsets over four AP Top-20 teams: No. 12 Iowa (January 1, 2023), No. 14 Indiana (February 19, 2024), No. 19 Florida State (November 7, 2024), and No. 23 Iowa (January 9, 2025).
Since Green’s arrival, Illinois has compiled a 63-35 overall record, including 30-24 in Big Ten play. The team has achieved several milestones: a program-best 63 wins in three seasons, the first postseason championship in program history with the 2024 WBIT title, and three consecutive top-five attendance seasons at the State Farm Center. Additionally, Illinois has recorded six wins against AP Top 25 opponents, secured double-digit home wins for three straight years for the first time, earned the first NCAA Tournament win in 25 years, and attracted the No. 7 recruiting class nationally according to espnW for 2025-26.
In the 2024-25 season, the Fighting Illini continued their rise with a 22-10 record, marking their third consecutive postseason appearance and tying the program record with four wins over AP Top-25 teams.
