The series began with a dramatic extra-innings win for Oregon State, as they edged Florida State 5-4 on Friday. However, the Seminoles bounced back with a 3-1 win on Saturday, setting up a winner-take-all game on Sunday.
In the final game, Oregon State delivered a powerful offensive performance, racking up 12 hits and hitting five home runs.
Their hitting included a rare cycle of home runs to seal the victory over Florida State.
The Beavers will face Louisville, who hold a 40-22 record, in their first College World Series game on Friday. The game is expected to start around 11 a.m. Pacific Time.
