KUALA LUMPUR (April 25) – Kuala Lumpur Tower will officially reopen to the public on Saturday, April 26, under new management, LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd (LSHSM), following a brief closure for management changes and restoration work. The reopening will also feature revised ticket prices for both local and international visitors.
Under the new pricing structure, local visitors holding MyKad will pay RM50 for access to the Sky Deck, a reduction of nearly 30% compared to previous rates. MyKid holders will enjoy an even more affordable ticket price of RM28. However, international visitors will see a significant price hike, with tickets to the Sky Deck now priced at RM140 for adults and RM80 for children, reflecting an increase of more than 20%.
Tickets for the Observation Deck will cost RM30 for MyKad holders and RM20 for MyKid holders. For international visitors, the price has been raised by about 33%, with adult tickets priced at RM80 and children’s tickets at RM50, nearly doubling the cost for young tourists.
All attractions at KL Tower, including the Sky Deck, Observation Deck, and Orbit Revolving Dining, will resume operations on Saturday. Additionally, the Hemisfera Luxury Sky Hall will be available for new bookings.
LSHSM’s announcement comes shortly after the Ministry of Communications confirmed the tower’s reopening. KL Tower had been temporarily closed for nine days in order to remove the previous operator, Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd (MKLSB), which continued operating the tower even after its concession agreement ended on March 31. During this period, essential restoration work was carried out.
