MACAO — To celebrate the fourth anniversary of its expansion, the Macao Grand Prix Museum, managed by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), will offer free admission to the public on June 1.
The museum will host a variety of activities throughout the day, including an educational workshop, magic shows, and exclusive specials at its gift shop. Both residents and visitors are invited to explore the unique history and culture of the Macau Grand Prix.
Free Entry to Explore Motorsport History
As a key attraction blending tourism and sports in Macao, the museum showcases a diverse collection of valuable motorsport artifacts. These exhibits highlight the rich legacy of the Macau Grand Prix. Visitors can also enjoy interactive installations designed to bring the excitement of motorsport to life. The free admission day offers a perfect chance for people to experience the museum’s offerings and learn about Macao’s role in motorsport development.
Educational Workshop Combines Art and History
Continuing its commitment to education, the museum will hold a special workshop titled “Racing & Mosaic Creative Camp” to mark the anniversary. The workshop focuses on the Triumph TR2, the car driven by the champion of the first Macau Grand Prix.
The program includes two parts, each lasting 45 minutes. First, a guided tour led by an educational guide will introduce participants to the origins of the Macau Grand Prix and provide detailed motorsport knowledge. Visitors will view exhibits, historic photos, and descriptions that reveal the event’s unique history beyond what is taught in classrooms.
Following the tour, participants will take part in a creative art session. Under the guidance of a professional instructor, they will create artwork inspired by the Triumph TR2 on display. This activity blends historical education with artistic expression, lasting a total of 1.5 hours.
