The arrival of Bill Belichick has sparked a surge in ticket sales for UNC football.
Despite attempts by the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach to recover from a controversial interview on “CBS Sunday Morning,” excitement around his move to Chapel Hill has grown significantly.
UNC Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham told Axios that the Tar Heels have sold out their entire allotment of 20,000 season tickets for the upcoming season.
This is a notable change from last year, when UNC football did not sell out its season ticket allotment.
Cunningham added that this increase in ticket sales occurred even though average prices rose by about 25 percent.
