CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — For the first time in over 20 years, the University of Illinois football program has sold out its public season tickets, marking a major milestone ahead of the 2025 season.
More than 34,000 public season tickets have been sold, not including student tickets and premium seating. With those additional categories, Illinois expects its total season ticket count to surpass 43,000 by the time the Fighting Illini host Western Illinois at Memorial Stadium on Friday, Aug. 29.
Fans who missed out on full-season tickets will have another opportunity to secure seats when Illinois launches its four-game mini-plan on Thursday at 9 a.m. CT. The $175 package includes home games against Western Illinois, Ohio State, Rutgers, and Northwestern.
Illinois will host seven games at Memorial Stadium this season. The Fighting Illini return 18 starters from last year’s team, which finished ranked No. 16 in the final AP Top 25 following a Citrus Bowl appearance.
Student Season Tickets Still Available
Student season tickets remain on sale, but demand is high. Illinois is urging students to act quickly, as a second consecutive sellout is expected. Sales for the 2025 student ticket packages are running at twice the pace of 2024.
Limited Premium Seating Remains
All suites for the upcoming season are sold out. However, limited availability remains in select premium areas, including the 77 Club and Colonnades Club. New Colonnades Club members are eligible for a 30% discount on their first season’s ticket package.
