BOULDER, Colo. — Season ticket sales for the University of Colorado’s 2025 football campaign have officially sold out, marking the third consecutive year of complete sellouts and the 11th in the program’s history.
The announcement from CU Athletics reflects the continued surge in enthusiasm surrounding head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes football team. This wave of support has not only driven strong ticket demand but also sustained high retention; the program reported a 98% renewal rate for season tickets, maintaining that benchmark for the third year in a row.
The 2025 season kicks off Friday, August 29, when the Buffaloes host Georgia Tech at Folsom Field. The matchup will be nationally televised on ESPN.
This fall will mark just the second time in CU history that the team will host seven home games in a single season. Fans who missed out on season tickets can still purchase single-game tickets through CUBuffs.

Folsom Field Gets a Makeover
Ahead of the upcoming season, Folsom Field is undergoing a major transformation. For the first time in decades, the natural grass surface is being replaced with artificial turf.
Installation began this week, with visible changes already in place. The south end zone now features “Buffaloes” in gold lettering against a black background. The updated field will also showcase the iconic Ralphie logo at midfield and Big 12 branding on both 25-yard lines, according to CU Athletic Director Rick George.
With a sold-out stadium, a revamped playing surface, and national broadcasts scheduled, expectations are high as the Buffaloes gear up for another landmark season under Coach Sanders.
