The highly anticipated artist lineup for BIGSOUND 2025 was officially unveiled today, 12 June, with country music making a notable impact on this year’s diverse selection. Held annually in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, BIGSOUND is Australia’s leading music festival and industry conference, and the 2025 edition is scheduled to run from Tuesday, 2 September through Friday, 5 September.
Over 120 acts were announced as part of the event’s upcoming program. While BIGSOUND continues to highlight a wide range of genres—spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, and R&B—it’s country music that may take a leading role in this year’s spotlight.
Nine country artists have secured spots in the official showcase, including rising talents such as Tyla Rodrigues, Robbie Mortimer, Chloe Styler, Dylan Wright, Josie, Josh Setterfield, Briana Dinsdale, Sweet Talk, and The Wet Whistles. Each act brings a unique take on the country sound, reflecting the genre’s growing popularity and its dynamic evolution in the Australian music scene.
