The New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich is giving away free tickets to under-22s for its summer production of Twelfth Night, a classic Shakespearean comedy. This show, performed by the theatre’s Young Company, will run from August 14 to 16.
Tony Casement, head of creative communities at the New Wolsey Theatre, emphasized the importance of the summer season. He said the program is more than just a series of shows — it is a celebration of Suffolk talent, providing access to theatre and helping develop skills in performance and production.
He added, “From our Young Company’s bold take on Shakespeare to musicals performed by some of the region’s finest amateur dramatic companies, we’re proud to showcase the creativity and energy of our community on the New Wolsey Theatre’s stage. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning audiences and hope everyone enjoys bringing these productions to life.”
