READING — Reading FC chairman Rob Couhig has announced a significant rise in season ticket sales ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, with figures already surpassing last season’s total.
Supporters now have until June 20 to renew or purchase their season tickets at last year’s prices, following an extension granted by the club.
Taking to social media platform X, Couhig shared the encouraging news:
“Congratulations @ReadingFC! In less than three weeks, the number of season tickets sold has exceeded all of last year. Lots of Urzzzs coming to Bearwood plus four guests in the box! We are just beginning! Announcements this week that will provide huge motivation to secure your tickets before June 20. Hang on! #Reading Monday.”
The sales boost comes as manager Noel Hunt prepares for an important summer transfer window. The club aims to build a stronger squad for the upcoming season in League One.
Midfielder Lewis Wing has already signed a new contract with the Royals, and other key players have been offered fresh terms to remain at the club.
Meanwhile, Reading are also reportedly exploring a permanent deal for winger Chem Campbell, who impressed during his loan spell last season. However, they may face competition from other League One sides for his signature.
The club is expected to make further announcements soon, potentially influencing fans to commit before the June 20 deadline.
