ROME, N.Y. — Tickets are now on sale for the 47th annual Rome Sports Hall of Fame induction dinner, set to take place at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, at Beeches Manor.
The event will honor several outstanding athletes who made lasting contributions to the local sports community.
Among this year’s inductees are Bill Arthur, Justin Davis, Melissa (D’Antonio) O’Rourke, and Scott Parsons—all former three-sport stars at Rome Free Academy.
In addition, two athletes will be recognized for their lifetime achievements in sports.
Josh Bartell, a standout hockey player at RFA and Clarkson University, and Shari (McNamara) Gerevics, a former softball star at Rome Catholic High and Rochester Institute of Technology, will receive special honors from the Hall of Fame.
Sport tickets for the banquet are available for purchase at the Rome Sports Hall of Fame, located at 5790 Rome New London Road. The event promises to celebrate excellence, tradition, and the rich athletic legacy of the Rome community.
