US Open Fan Week 2025 offers tennis fans a unique chance to enjoy top-level Grand Slam action without the usual high costs. From August 18 to 23, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York will open its doors for free general admission, featuring a busy schedule of matches, player practice sessions, and fan activities. While most events are free, some require paid tickets or a Fan Access Pass.
What Happens During US Open Fan Week 2025
The highlight of Fan Week is the US Open Qualifying Tournament, starting Monday, August 18. Over four days, 128 men and 128 women will compete for spots in the main US Open tournament. Matches start daily at 11 a.m., with gates opening at 10 a.m.
Fans can also watch top players practicing, often inside Arthur Ashe Stadium. To attend these practice sessions, a free Fan Access Pass is needed, available through the US Open app.
The week includes special ticketed events, such as the “Stars of the Open” showcase on Thursday, August 21 at 7 p.m. This event mixes tennis with entertainment and features former champions and celebrities. Families can enjoy Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day on Saturday, August 23, with kid-friendly on-court games and live shows.

Most Fan Week events are free. However, tickets are needed for certain main events and exhibitions. These can be bought on the official US Open website.
The Fan Access Pass offers extra perks, including access to Arthur Ashe practice sessions and reserved seating areas.
Registration for the 2025 Fan Access Pass is open now. All adults must register individually, even if they had a pass before. Children can attend free with a registered adult and do not need their own pass.
