Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX have announced a major expansion of their Fan-First Premiere Screenings for F1, the highly anticipated Apple Original Film. Following strong global demand and sold-out screenings in 25 markets, the early event will now roll out to 400 IMAX theaters around the world.
Fans will have a one-night-only chance to see the film on June 23—days ahead of its international debut on June 25 and U.S. release on June 27. Tickets for these exclusive IMAX screenings will be available starting Tuesday, May 21 at 9 a.m. PT / 5 p.m. BST. General tickets for all upcoming showtimes will also go on sale at the same time.
The screenplay is written by Ehren Kruger, based on a story by Kruger and Kosinski. Daniel Lupi serves as executive producer. The film’s creative team includes cinematographer Claudio Miranda, production designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione, costume designer Julian Day, casting director Lucy Bevan, and legendary composer Hans Zimmer.
For fans eager to be among the first to witness the action on the big screen, tickets for the June 23 IMAX premiere and subsequent showings from June 25 onward will be available on official ticketing platforms starting May 21.
