ROCKWALL, TX — The excitement is building for Rockwall County’s popular summer event, the 2nd Annual Gone Country Music Fest. Presented by Michael Joyce Properties, the festival returns on Saturday, July 19. This year, it’s bigger and moving indoors to the scenic Tate Farms of Rockwall.
The event is hosted by Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County. It supports the Senior Life Center Capital Campaign, which helps meet the growing needs of local seniors and people with disabilities.
The festival’s headliner is Billie Jo Jones, recently named Female Vocalist of the Year at the Texas Regional Radio Awards.
Known for her strong stage presence and unique sound, Billie Jo is expected to deliver an energetic and heartfelt performance.
Joining her are four Texas-based artists, each with their own style:
- Nate Burnham, who blends Americana storytelling with a modern touch
- Johnny Lyons, combining classic country charm with rock ‘n’ roll flair
- Austin Valladarez, a rising star with a fresh, bold sound
The festival takes place at Tate Farms, a working horse and cattle ranch turned concert venue at 12992 FM 548 in Rockwall County. Doors open at 6 p.m., offering a full evening of music, dancing, raffles, vendor shopping, and a cash bar.
No Texas event would be complete without great food. Legendary pitmaster Eddie Deen will serve up memorable BBQ dinners for attendees.
Tickets and sponsorships are now on sale and going fast. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy a night of country music indoors while supporting a worthy cause.
