After taking a break from touring, Shawn Mendes is back on the road in 2025 with his new “On The Road Again” tour. This will be his first tour since 2022, and fans worldwide are eager to see him live again. Joining Mendes on the tour are supporting acts MARO, Lubiana, and Eddie Benjamin.
The 26-year-old Canadian singer first rose to fame on Vine and has since released many hits including “Stitches,” “Treat You Better,” “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” “Mercy,” and “Never Be Alone.” Over his career, Mendes has earned numerous awards such as American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, BMI Pop Awards, People’s Choice Awards, MTV Awards, and SOCAN Awards.
The upcoming tour follows a more intimate series of shows where Mendes introduced songs from his album Shawn. The tour will celebrate this album as well as his greatest hits. Mendes shared on Instagram, “Honestly, before I played in South America a couple months ago, I was scared. I wasn’t sure how it was gonna feel to be back on the road again & my god… I had the absolute best time. Those were some of the best shows of my life.”
He added, “Time away has allowed me to come back and remember how unbelievably special it is to play live shows. It’s an honor and I’m just beyond grateful that you guys keep showing up after 10 years with so much love. I almost forgot I have one of the best jobs in this world.”
