San Juan — The Government of Puerto Rico announced plans to allocate a number of tickets for Bad Bunny’s upcoming concerts to island officials and high-achieving high school students. The tickets are for the 30 shows scheduled as part of the artist’s residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José M. Agrelot in San Juan.
Veronica Ferraiuoli, coordinator of government efficiency and executive director of the Convention Center District Authority, revealed the initiative on Sunday. The program, titled “I Should Have Taken More Training,” aims to honor public servants and reward academic excellence among Puerto Rican youth.
Tickets will be distributed specifically to government officials and students who earned the highest academic averages in their final year of high school. The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Convention District, La Fortaleza (the governor’s residence), and the Department of Education.
La Fortaleza emphasized that the program recognizes the hard work of public employees who help deliver government services, as well as the dedication of outstanding students. Ferraiuoli stated, “It is a pleasure to provide this unique experience to those who contribute daily—our public servants—and to the young students who have demonstrated academic excellence. We want to celebrate your effort and offer you a special moment with one of the great exponents of urban music.”
Bad Bunny’s “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” tour will run from July 11 to September 14. The concerts promote his latest album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which honors his Puerto Rican roots and blends reggaeton with salsa and plena. All 400,000 tickets for the 30 concerts sold out in record time, reflecting the massive demand for the shows.
