Alabama Baseball’s Ozmer and Lebron Earn NCBWA All-American Honors

by Celina

DALLAS, Texas — Alabama baseball players Carson Ozmer and Justin Lebron have been named All-Americans by the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the group announced Wednesday.

Ozmer earned First Team All-American honors, while Lebron was named to the Third Team. This marks the second postseason accolade for both players. Earlier in June, they were selected to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region Team.

Ozmer is the first Alabama player since Connor Prielipp in 2020 to receive First Team All-American honors from the NCBWA. For Lebron, this is his fifth All-American recognition, following a Perfect Game USA Third Team nod earlier this offseason and three Freshman All-American honors last year.

With Ozmer and Lebron’s selections, Alabama has produced four NCBWA All-Americans since 2021, including Chase Lee (Third Team, 2021) and Gage Miller (Third Team, 2024). Ozmer is also the first Tide player named First Team All-American by the NCBWA since Kent Matthes in 2009.
