Visalia, CA – The Visalia Rawhide begin a six-game series against their rivals, the Fresno Grizzlies, starting Tuesday, June 17, at Valley Strong Ballpark.
The homestand features a Margaritaville-themed weekend. From Thursday to Saturday, the Rawhide will wear special Margaritaville jerseys. Fans can bid on these game-worn jerseys during silent auctions held all three nights. Giveaways during the week include a tropical oven mitt on Thursday, a Central Valley Rockies jersey on Friday, and a Tipper’s Kids Club paintball jersey on Sunday.
Tickets for this week’s games and all upcoming Rawhide events are available for purchase on the team’s website or at the Rawhide Ticket Office, sponsored by Kaweah Health. The office is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on game days starting at 10 a.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends.
Valley Strong Ballpark is also celebrating Decades Week throughout the week, featuring themed music, games, and special events.
Tuesday kicks off with ’60s Day, along with Adapted Athletes Night, honoring athletes with disabilities. Free tickets are available for individuals with special needs and their families, courtesy of The Adapted Athlete in Visalia and Train Like a Girl. Fans can pick up tickets at the Rawhide Ticket Office.
Tuesday is also “TWO’s-Day,” sponsored by Modelo and Pacifico. Fans can enjoy two street tacos for $6.25, Modelo and Pacifico draft or tall cans for $7.25, and $2 tickets to the 4Creeks Pasture.
Wednesday is “Winning Wednesday,” featuring $7.25 select whiskey and wine drinks, along with ballpark bingo. The decade celebration continues with ’70s Night at the ballpark. Rawhide Rustlers Senior Club memberships are still available and include a ticket to every Wednesday game for the rest of the season. American Quality Life Hospice will give away first aid kits to Rustler members on Wednesday.
Margaritaville Weekend begins Thursday with a tropical oven mitt giveaway for the first 250 fans, courtesy of Echelon Security Group Inc. The Margaritaville jerseys worn on Thursday through Saturday will be up for silent auction all three nights. The Anthem Team Store will offer exclusive Margaritaville Rawhide apparel for sale throughout the weekend. Fans can also enjoy margarita drink specials at the ballpark.
As part of the Visalia Oaks and Party Works Dress-Up Thursday, fans wearing Visalia Oaks gear or beach attire can receive a free ticket to the 4Creeks Pasture. Tickets can be claimed at the Rawhide Ticket Office on game day.
Every Thursday at Valley Strong Ballpark offers $5.59 drinks before the first pitch and special drink prices during the game, thanks to Michelob Ultra, Estrella Jalisco, Coors Light, and Pacifico. Thursday also features ’80s Night at the ballpark.
