The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that tickets for the eagerly awaited Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will go on sale on Monday, 5 May 2025, starting at 10 a.m.
The exciting Soweto Derby will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 10 May. Fans can expect a thrilling football showdown. Tickets will be available at all Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite and Checkers stores.
Ticket Prices and Purchase Limits
General access tickets are priced at R150 each. To keep the ticket distribution fair and reduce resale risks, each person can buy up to four tickets.
Strict Measures to Prevent Ticket Fraud
The PSL aims to avoid the ticket chaos experienced during the previous Soweto Derby, when over 10,000 fake tickets flooded the black market and overwhelmed stadium security. This time, stronger security measures are in place to ensure only valid ticket holders enter the stadium.
The league strongly advises fans to buy tickets only from official sellers. Tickets bought from unauthorized sources or third parties will be invalid and will not allow entry.
