Dead & Company are set to celebrate the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary with three sold-out concerts this August in San Francisco. The band’s shows at Golden Gate Park quickly sold out after general ticket sales opened. Fans hoping to attend will need to join waitlists or explore resale sites for tickets.
The lineup includes special guest performances from Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpson, and Trey Anastasio Band on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively.
San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie praised the Grateful Dead’s lasting impact on the city, saying, “From Haight-Ashbury to the Excelsior District where Jerry Garcia grew up, the Grateful Dead’s influence is integral to our city’s cultural fabric. Sixty years later, we proudly honor their legacy through concerts, community events, and celebrations that reflect San Francisco’s spirit of creativity and musical innovation.”
Fans can find tickets on resale sites like SeatGeek and TicketNetwork. SeatGeek currently offers three-day general admission tickets priced at $847 each, including fees, with electronic delivery expected by the end of July. TicketNetwork lists both single-day and three-day tickets, with Friday’s tickets starting at $387.44 after discounts and fees.
With the official shows sold out, these resale options provide Deadheads with a chance to join in the 60th anniversary celebration.
