The upcoming Steelers-Packers matchup in Week 10 has quickly become one of the hottest ticket events of the NFL season.
The average ticket price stands at $454, making it the sixth-most costly game in 2025 so far.
Much of the excitement revolves around Aaron Rodgers, who is expected to sign with Pittsburgh. If that happens, the game will mark Rodgers’ first face-off against his former team on Sunday Night Football, adding a compelling storyline.
Questions remain about Rodgers’ decision on his football future. However, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur expressed confidence about Rodgers joining the Steelers.
“I’m pretty sure [the Steelers] know what they’re doing,” LaFleur said on the Up & Adams show. “I’m sure they’re confident in what they’re doing, and I would fully expect him to be a Pittsburgh Steeler.”
LaFleur coached Rodgers for four years in Green Bay, from 2019 to 2022, so he knows the quarterback well. Despite this connection, LaFleur confirmed that neither Pittsburgh’s head coach Mike Tomlin nor offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has contacted him about Rodgers.
“No, not once. Nothing,” LaFleur said. “Neither has Arthur [Smith], their OC. I haven’t heard from either of those guys, in regards to him.”
Reports suggest the Steelers have been in constant contact with Rodgers, making his signing seem likely. If Rodgers does join Pittsburgh, it could set up a highly anticipated revenge game against the Packers in Week 8, also on Sunday Night Football.
In addition to the player drama, Steelers team president Art Rooney II announced the team will wear new alternate uniforms and helmets for the Week 10 game against Green Bay.
“We are going to have a new throwback uniform this year, and with a new helmet to go with it,” Rooney said in a statement on the Steelers’ official website.
“We’re planning to wear our new throwbacks for the Packers game on Sunday night, Oct. 26. It’ll be fun to wear our throwbacks against one of the older franchises in the league – that just seems to be appropriate. We’ll be doing our Color Rush uniforms late in the year. I think we’re going to do it for the Monday night game on Dec. 15 against the Miami Dolphins.”
The Week 10 clash promises both on-field drama and a nostalgic feel with the new throwback gear, making it a must-watch event for NFL fans.
