CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Museum of Art has reopened ticket sales for its popular summer event, Solstice, after previously selling out.
The celebration will take place on Saturday, June 21, from 7 p.m. to midnight. According to Gabe Pollack, director of performing arts, the favorable weather forecast has allowed the museum to increase attendance capacity.
Tickets are priced at $150 and include unlimited food and drinks, featuring beer, wine, and canned cocktails. Guests can enjoy these offerings both indoors and outdoors.
This year’s musical lineup highlights brass-focused performances from Da Land Brass Band of Cleveland, Spain’s Balkan Paradise Orchestra, Puerto Rico’s El Laberinto del Coco, and the Mexican Institute of Sound. The museum’s Ames Family Atrium will be transformed into a dance party called “It’s a Vibe,” featuring DJs Sound on Tape, Corey Grand, and Knyce.
The museum will also feature projections, light displays, and decorations throughout the event. Members of the 9th Avenue Street Circus will make special appearances during the evening.
In addition to entertainment, guests will have access to the museum’s permanent galleries, which will stay open late. Staff-led flash talks will provide insights into the museum’s collection in select galleries.
