LONDON — Japanese music sensation Ado is set to make her highly anticipated London debut at The O2 Arena as part of her Hibana World Tour. Known for her enigmatic persona and powerful vocals, Ado’s one-night-only performance will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The tour follows closely on the heels of her successful Wish World Tour, marking her second global concert series. Powered by Crunchyroll, this tour supports the rising star whose hits such as Usseewa, Show, and Backlight have topped charts worldwide.

What to Expect: Ado’s Unique Stage Presence
Ado is famously known for preserving her anonymity. At live shows, she performs from inside the “Ado Box” — a mesh-covered structure made of LED screens that projects only her silhouette. The design enhances the mystique around her performances.
During a rare handshaking event in Tokyo, just 1,000 fans were selected to interact with her from behind the screen. Ado first gained attention on video-sharing site NicoNico, where she covered Kimi no Taion. Her original tracks Gira Gira and Odo later catapulted her to international fame. In a recent statement, Ado explained the meaning behind “Hibana,” which translates to “spark” in Japanese:
“If my first world tour embodied my ‘Wish,’ then my second will ignite the spark I want to light in the world.”
In her recent Japan show Shinzou, Ado dramatically entered the stage inside a giant blue balloon, joined by renowned rock guitarist Tak Matsumoto of B’z. It remains to be seen who, if anyone, will join her in London.
